How can you start your e-bike journey?

Ding dong! - You hear the doorbell ringing. The deliverer will bring you the JOBOBIKE electric bike that you wanted! You pick up the package, read the instructions, watch the assembly instructions video, boldly assemble your e-bike and finally the moment you've been waiting for is here - time for your first e-bike ride . But how do you start?

If you have chosen the JOBOBIKE Sam model, you will realize that the button on the handlebar plays a very important role in switching on. To start your e-bike, you must insert the key into the battery lock and turn it clockwise. You can now start your bike by pressing the center button on the handlebar LCD display. Hold the button down until the display lights up. Completed! You can now set the level of assistance you want, switch the lights on or off, get on your e-bike and enjoy your electrically assisted ride. Remember to leave the key in the battery lock when riding your JOBOBIKE Sam. These keys have another function - without them it is impossible to remove the battery from the bike frame. This means that if you leave your beloved e-bike in the lock without a key, nobody can remove the battery or ride your bike with the help of the electric motor.

With other JOBOBIKE bicycles, the key is only used to remove the battery from the frame, it has no function to start the electric bicycle. Just press and hold the power button until the display lights up and you're ready to enjoy your ride.

If your e-bike does not start after following the instructions, please check all cable connections to your e-bike. It may happen that some of the contacts are not connected.
